Picture showing my rear disc brakes, I used a Wilwood mechanical caliper for the parking brakes. They utilize the factory cables with the exception of the fact that they have been shortened.

I still don't know why this Manx has a matching metalflake dash. It's not a Manx 2.

This and the following 4 pictures are of my red metalflake Manx, the day I brought it home.
I purchased it the way you see it on the trailer, for $125.00. The guy I bought it from, bought the Manx, complete and drivable. He proceeded to remove the body from the pan then cut the pan up to use the parts to build his new sandrail. The Manx body and the rest of the parts were sitting next to his trash cans in the alley. From what I understand it was sitting in the alley for 2 months. What was this Bozo thinking? The white stickers between the battery and spare tire well are quality control inspection stickers from the B.F. Meyers Company.

I plan on using the hardtop on my orange Manx. I will probably paint it white, I really like the David Jones orange buggy looks with the white hardtop. I think being on the otherside of the pond puts us far enough apart so both buggys won't end up at the same stoplight at the same time.

I can't believe how crooked the snaps for the rear window were installed in both the hardtop and the body.
In this picture it is really visable on the hardtop.
