Body mockup #3 - another trial fit in readiness for custom exhaust to be made in the next couple of weeks (not by me though).

Slapped the body back onto pan....have to sort out things like breather box mounting, fuel line routing etc.

Front view - still have to adjust camber. Will probably end up having to narrow the beam and run spacers - turning circle even in mockup stage is shocking!

Spare wheel well is pretty much sorted now. Lot better than what I started with, not perfect but still pretty nice.

Under bonnet shot shows centre dash mods (dropped it down a few inches to fit the stereo in)

Engine bay smoothed out a little more and primed up.

The beetle was moved off to exhaust specialist today to make the custom exhaust. Temporary steering wheel so they can move it around the shop.

Decklid bolted up to stop the workshop dust and crap getting into the engine.

Engine bolted up again - will sort out the remainder of the cooling tin when the car returns home.
