This buggy was bought for my Sister and Sister in law. They claimed to be getting tired of standing around in the dunes and wanted their own dunebuggy. The picture was taken 15 minutes after we got the complete and running buggy home the day it was purchased. We needed to get some things fixed before it would be duneworthy. Mainly, the wiring, brakes and engine. What a mess.

New pan halves installed,we are now installing the 1" x 1 1/2" rectangular tubing around the perimeter of the pan. It works real well as a base for body flange. We used 1" square tubing across the front and rear of the body mounting area.

It doesn't look to bad with it's new paddle tires.
During the buggys evolution I built a fairly stout 1915 for it, we installed a TransForm trans with close 3rd and 4th which made it a quite capable duner. It still wasn't quite as pretty as the girls wanted, so we took the engine, trans, wheels & tires, along with the front beam off the buggy and sold the rest. Then we used the parts and the money along with a considerable amount of extra money to build the red Berrien Buggy Nostalgia in the next frame.
